FAQ
Everything you need to know about PitchPilote.
PitchPilote — also known as Pitch Pilot — is an AI-powered speaking and presentation coach. Whether you're afraid of public speaking, feel unprepared, or want to sharpen your delivery, PitchPilote helps. You record yourself speaking, and the AI analyzes your delivery — scoring confidence, clarity, pace, filler words, and tone. It gives you specific, actionable feedback that references your actual words, not generic tips.
You upload your slides (optional), select your presentation type and audience, then record yourself speaking. PitchPilote transcribes your speech in real time, measures objective metrics like WPM and filler count, then sends your transcript to an AI model that provides detailed coaching — quoting your specific words and suggesting improvements.
PitchPilote supports startup pitches (with investor readiness scoring), university and thesis presentations (with academic rubric evaluation), work presentations, sales pitches (with sales effectiveness scoring), conference talks (with engagement analysis), elevator pitches, and job interview practice.
After your presentation, the AI generates 4-10 tough questions based on what you actually said and what's in your slides. Different personas ask the questions — a skeptical investor, a curious colleague, a technical expert. Questions are spoken out loud and you answer verbally, simulating a real Q&A session.
Yes. Your session data (transcripts, scores, feedback) is stored securely on our servers so you can access it from any device. Audio recordings are stored in private cloud storage. Your transcript is sent to an AI provider for analysis but we never sell your data. You can delete everything instantly from Settings.
Yes. PitchPilote works on mobile browsers including Chrome for Android and Safari for iOS. On mobile, sessions include transcript and AI feedback. Audio replay is available on desktop sessions where the browser supports simultaneous recording and transcription.
PitchPilote offers 3 free sessions with full AI feedback — no credit card, no time limit. Need more? A Session Pack is $5 for 5 sessions that never expire. The Unlimited plan is $19/month with unlimited sessions and AI Audience mode, or $99/year to save 57%.
PitchPilote currently supports presentations in English with the most comprehensive filler word detection and grammar analysis. Additional languages are in development — the transcription and AI coaching work in multiple languages through browser speech recognition.
Team features are on our roadmap. In the meantime, individual Unlimited accounts work great for teams who want to practice independently. We'll announce team plans when they're ready.
Recording yourself shows you what happened. PitchPilote tells you what to fix. It counts every filler word, scores your confidence and clarity, detects tone shifts, cross-references your slides with what you said, generates tough audience questions, and gives coaching that quotes your specific words with concrete replacements.
Every session is broken into three sections — opening, body, and closing — each scored independently. PitchPilote evaluates your opening hook quality, body flow (linear vs. scattered), and closing impact. You also see time allocation — how much of your presentation you spent on each section, with coaching on better balance.
PitchPilote detects weak phrases like hedging ('I think', 'kind of'), passive voice, and vague language. Each is flagged with a confident rewrite and an explanation of why the original was weak. You also get paragraph-level rewrites where the coach takes your weakest 2-4 sentences and shows how a confident speaker would say the same thing.
After 5 sessions in a project, PitchPilote unlocks Progress Analysis — trend charts for confidence, clarity, filler count, and overall score over time. It automatically identifies what you've improved and what you're still working on, plus a personalized coach note on your trajectory. A countdown shows how many sessions until it unlocks.
Yes. Upload your slide deck as a PDF and PitchPilote cross-references what you say against what your slides promise. It catches when you skip a key point, gloss over numbers, or fail to explain claims on a slide. Audience questions are also generated from your slide content — so you practice defending what your slides actually say.
PitchPilote is not a slide builder — it's the tool you use after building your slides. Presentation makers like PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva help you design slides. PitchPilote helps you deliver them. Upload your slides, practice presenting, and get AI feedback on how well your spoken words match your slide content.
Most presentation software focuses on designing slides. PitchPilote focuses on the presenter. It analyzes your actual delivery — confidence, clarity, pace, filler words, and tone — and gives you coaching that quotes your specific words. It's the missing piece between building a great deck and delivering it well.
Yes. PitchPilote is built for people who are afraid of speaking in front of others, not just polished presenters. The upcoming Speech Academy features progressive levels — starting with guided breathing and reading aloud, then gradually building up to full presentations with live AI audience Q&A. You practice privately, at your own pace, with no judgment.
Absolutely. PitchPilote lets you practice in a safe, private environment where no one is watching. You can start with short 30-second exercises and build up as your confidence grows. The AI gives you honest feedback without the social pressure of practicing in front of real people. Many of our users started exactly where you are.
Three ways: First, real-time metrics while you speak show you exactly what's happening — you can watch your pace, filler count, and confidence score improve in real time. Second, AI feedback after each session gives you specific, actionable coaching. Third, progress tracking across sessions shows you getting better over time, which builds confidence faster than anything else.
