What we collect

• Account info — your name and email from Google sign-in.
• Usage data — session counts, tier, and onboarding answers to improve the product.
• Feedback — any reports or feedback you submit voluntarily.

What stays on your device

Your presentation recordings, uploaded slides, and practice session data are stored locally in your browser. They never leave your device unless you explicitly share them. We do not have access to your audio, video, or slide content.

AI processing

When you run an AI analysis, your spoken transcript (text only, not audio) is sent to a third-party AI provider for feedback generation. We do not store transcripts on our servers after processing is complete.

How we use your data

• To provide and improve PitchPilote.
• To manage your account and subscription tier.
• To send transactional emails (approval notifications, etc.).
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data storage

Account and usage data is stored securely using Upstash Redis. We use industry-standard encryption in transit. We retain your data as long as your account is active.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us. Local data can be cleared through your browser settings.
