Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Agreement

These Terms are a contract between you and PitchPilote. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial speaking practice.

The service

PitchPilote is an AI-assisted speaking coach. You can record practice sessions for AI feedback, and use the Speech Academy— short typed and voice drills with automated coaching. The Service is provided on an ongoing but evolving basis; features may change, and some require a paid plan.

Your account

  • You sign in via Google OAuth and are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One account per person; don't share access or impersonate others.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service or violate these Terms.

Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

  • Paid plans (e.g. Pro) are billed through our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, at the price and interval shown at checkout. Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record and collects any applicable taxes (e.g. VAT/sales tax).
  • Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal at the then-current price.
  • Cancel anytime from your account settings or by emailing us; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You keep access until then.
  • We'll give reasonable advance notice of any price change before it applies to you.
  • Refunds: except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for unused time in a billing period.
  • California & US auto-renewal: you may cancel at any time as described above; we provide renewal and cancellation information as required by applicable automatic-renewal laws.

EU/UK right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Because the Service is digital content/services supplied immediately, by starting to use a paid feature within that period you ask us to begin at once and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. This does not affect your mandatory statutory rights.

Free access, trials & codes

  • We may offer free tiers, trials, or promotional access, which we can modify or end at our discretion.
  • Discount codes may carry expiration dates or usage limits.

Your content

You own your content (recordings, transcripts, slides, drill responses). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and transmit it solelyto operate the Service and provide your feedback — including sending text to our AI provider(s). We don't claim ownership of your content, and we don't use it to train AI models. You can delete your content anytime from Settings.

AI feedback — important disclaimer

Coaching, scores, and suggestions are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suited to your situation. They are for informational purposes onlyand are not professional, medical, psychological, legal, financial, or career advice. Use your own judgment; we don't guarantee any particular result or outcome from using the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Abuse, spam, or overload the Service, or interfere with its operation or security.
  • Access other users' data or our admin features, or attempt to bypass limits or gating.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law.
  • Upload unlawful content or content you don't have the right to share, or record others without their consent where required.

Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, content, and trademarks, belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use it under these Terms; all other rights are reserved.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI feedback will be accurate. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers, so some may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PitchPilote and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and costs arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by us.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (content license limits, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Tunisia will have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence and the right to bring claims in your local courts.

Changes & contact

We may update these Terms as the product evolves; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, give notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions? team@pitchpilote.com.
